Takara is a 15 month old female with a lot of heart. Her journey started in Missouri last year and she ended up at WGLAR after her owner surrendered her due to lack of time to dedicate to her.

Takara is still settling into her foster home. She has been good with other dogs, children, and cats. She is on the small size at 65 lbs but should fill out a little as she matures. Something in Takara's past has made her timid around most men, though she has been ok with a couple that she has met. Adopter(s) will need to understand this and have the desire to work with her so she may regain confidence and overcome her fearfulness of some men.
